Cookie Policy
In short. Without your consent the site installs no analytics or marketing cookie at all: it works just the same and we do not know who you are. Google Analytics 4 works only with your consent: until you say yes to analytics, no request leaves this site for Google, on any page. The same goes for the Meta pixel and the marketing category. To understand which content is read we use a tool of our own instead, which runs on our server and passes through no third party: it installs no cookie, writes nothing on your device and creates no identifier, so it does not ask for your consent; it keeps totals only, with no IP addresses. The banner is shown on the home page; on the other pages the choice you saved there applies. The two categories are separate: if you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to count visits; if you accept marketing, we use the Meta pixel to measure our advertising campaigns and show our ads to people who have visited the site. You can change your mind whenever you like, from the button at the bottom of this page.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves on your device to remember information from one page to the next or from one visit to the next. Alongside cookies there are similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, which this policy treats in the same way.

Marketing (Meta pixel) — only if you accept the marketing category, the site loads the pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Each page you visit, and the completed sign-up on the thank-you page, is sent to Meta together with the identifiers of your browser and device and your IP address. Meta uses this information to measure the results of our advertising campaigns and to show our ads to people who have visited the site, also by linking it to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. This is advertising profiling: it happens only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Without that consent the site installs no advertising or profiling cookie and passes no data to Meta or to other advertising networks.
Typefaces and every other asset are hosted on empokerment.com itself: when you open the pages your browser contacts no third-party server for them. Before your choice the site contacts no third party at all: neither Google nor Meta. Only after a yes to analytics is Google's tool loaded, and from that moment it installs its cookies on Google servers; only after a yes to marketing are Meta's servers contacted (connect.facebook.net and facebook.com). The measurement that takes place without consent is only that of our own tool, which stays on our server and does not leave it.
The sign-up form uses neither reCAPTCHA nor any other third-party anti-spam service, and therefore sets no cookie for that purpose: it is protected by checks entirely our own, running on our own server (an invisible field that only automated programs fill in, a limit on repeated attempts, and confirmation of the address with one click in the email). Filling in the form contacts nobody but us.
3. Legal basis and consent
Technical cookies require no consent, under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. Third-party analytics and marketing cookies are installed only after your consent, given through the banner on your first visit, separately for each category: you can accept analytics and refuse marketing, or the other way round. The banner allows you to accept or refuse with equal ease. If you refuse, or if you make no choice, no analytics or marketing cookie is installed, no identifier is created on your device, and the Google and Meta tools are not loaded at all: nothing reaches them, not even your network address. Only the measurement of our own tool stays active, and it takes place on our own server: it requires no consent because it uses no cookies and no identifiers, it relies on the Controller's legitimate interest in measuring the quality of its own content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and you may object at any time by writing to infoprivacy.dpo@allinchannel.com. Your choice is remembered for six months, after which you will be asked again.
4. Who processes the data collected
The data collected by the Controller's own measurement tool stays on the empokerment.com server and is processed by the Controller alone: it is neither sold nor passed to any third party, it contains no IP addresses and it is kept only as aggregate totals.
Measurement data collected with Google Analytics 4, and only if you have consented, is processed by Google Ireland Ltd. as data processor. Processing takes place in the European Union with possible transfers to the United States, covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision and, in the alternative, by the Standard Contractual Clauses. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses: it uses them to infer an approximate location and then discards them. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off in the property settings, and no Google Analytics data sharing for marketing purposes is enabled.
Marketing data collected through the Meta pixel is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., which is joint controller with us for collecting and transmitting the data through the pixel, under the joint controller addendum Meta makes available to businesses, and processes the data as an independent controller for its own subsequent purposes, as described in Meta's privacy policy. Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States, which adheres to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision.
5. How to withdraw or change your choice
You can change your decision at any time using the button below: it clears the saved choice and deletes the analytics and marketing cookies already stored on your device, including those of the Meta pixel. Alternatively you can delete or block cookies from your browser settings: instructions are in the help pages of the browser you use.
On the banner «Decline all» and «Accept all» have the same appearance and the same size: refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and the two categories are accepted separately.
The register of choices. The law requires the Controller to be able to demonstrate consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR). That is why every choice made on the banner, and every withdrawal, is recorded on our server: date and time, what you chose and with which button, the version of the policies then in force, the language and the page, a random code for the choice and a non-reversible fingerprint of the network address. Your IP address is not kept, no extra cookie is set, and the register never leaves our server. It is kept for five years, then deleted automatically.
